Thanksgiving

Thanksgiving and being home with my family was so nice. I have missed everyone so much and coming home to all of them was a real treat!  I had a few nights at my moms house and it was relaxing with Hugh and Abigail. My grandpa was there as well for a few days.  When Katie came home from school, we then stayed at my dads house. Analisa redecorated the guest house and it looks great!  Tyler, Analisa's younger brother who is a SEAL stayed with Katie and I, except he slept on the pullout couch.  There were 2 28 lb turkeys for 20 people. I made 2 soy pumpkin cheesecakes. I got to see GiGi, Theodore, Geanie, Kathryn, Jim, Janet, Uncle Richie and his friend Mario, Uncle Mike and Aunt Lynda, Tyler, Todd and Diane, all of us 7 kids.  We all had so much fun!

The next morning we went to moms house to say goodbye to Boppa.  Mom drove him back to the bay area, and Jim and his daughter Katie went back to Reno.  The rest of the day we all hung out played foot ball and got Christmas trees. We had dinner at Edgewood and couldn't stop laughing the entire time!  Everyone came over for dinner on Saturday night at we watched the USC football game and ate turkey soup and set up the christmas tree. Everyone left Sunday morning and Dad and Analisa drove Katie and Tyler to the airport and did christmas shopping while I babysat the remaining kids. We played tag and football and now we are all hanging out and watching a move. 

It was a great week to come home to!

1 Week to Go

Sorry it has been a while, there hasn't been a whole lot going on since I last posted.  My mom went to LA for her and Katie's birthdays. They took Abigail and Jim, but not Andrea... Katie turned 21! I sent her some gifts in the mail, along with mom. The weather is getting much colder, I think it will snow today, it was supposed to snow yesterday. I was a cheetah for halloween, I went to downtown and into a club for a GirlTalk concert and it was so much fun! Getting back to the dorms was difficult but we made it! Next week I have a paper and two tests but on finals week I have one test. I thought all finals were supposed to be on finals week. Then my friend Grant may come to Denver on a road trip but Im not sure if everything will work out that we can drive home for Thanksgiving. But I am SO excited for all the great food!

Its raining its pouring

This weekend was absolutely freezing. The weekend when my family came, of course it had to be the coldest weekend known to man... well not literally but it was the coldest since I have been here.

So katie came and we had a fabulous dinner in downtown and I got to take back all of the leftovers! Katie and I had a sleepover and in the morning since my cafeteria wasn't open (they have any hours they want) we went to Whole Foods for breakfast instead. I stood on a wet and rainy field until my dad came and got me. We got a new fancy fish tank for Companion (ya that is my fish's name) and got Analisa at the airport, got lost trying to find lunch missed 3 of Katie's 5 games :( but it was seriously bad weather, and they are so tough for staying out there the whole time! Dinner was at Dad's lawyers house, it was beautiful, and yummy food too!

Sunday I didn't go to Katie's 8:30 am game but I did watch her other two. Analisa felt like she was getting sick so she and Dad left to get lunch. Mean while Katie had lost her ID in the airport, so the nice sister that I am was calling all over trying to find it... Katie was playing great and her roommate Rex is super cool, she and I got along really well!

We checked Katie and Rex into their flights and went to lost and found, Katie was blessed by the God's and her ID was there! Dinner was at the airport with a short goodbye and Dad drove me back to my dorm!

Laundry Day

Laundry day! Everybody LOVES laundry... NOT. I had a mid term in spanish today. I think it went well, I also turned in another paper for my communications class. I do like that class, not that it is 2 hours long, but I can actually use the information in it for everyday life, crazy I know. Who would have thought the stuff you learn in college you can use everyday? Heck, I didn't think I would!

My weekend was good, I got to finally hang with people from the ski team, people I like who aren't surrounded by drama! (like one girl on my floor, I just don't like her, at all. Im trying really hard to not let it get to me, but it does and I feel so immature for letting it get to me too!)

On other notes fall is getting prettier and prettier every day! I still hate the food downstairs, but today they had pita bread with yummy (vegan) stuff to put inside!

I can't wait to see Kaite, Nikolai, Dad and Analisa this weekend! 3 days to go! I am missing all of my family like nutts. Im super excited to meet Ben (Kaite's BF, and Rex, her roomie)!!!!

Math.. A Blustery Day

Math, oh joyous math... I hate math! Actually I am just hating circles. They are very difficult to understand.

Other than the little out burst. I felt like Winnie the Pooh today. It was a typical fall day and the sky was cloudy, and grey thunderstorms were just on the horizon. The wind picked up and was blowing yellow leaves from the trees. I wish I were in the Hundred Acre Wood right now instead of studding.

To be sick

I haven't wanted to admit for about a week, that I am sick. I kept convincing myself it was just allergies, but yesterday I took a nap, and when I woke up I still felt crummy. Ladies and Gentlemen, I'm sick, and I don't like it one bit!

I took a shower this morning to help myself wake up and feel better, but it was cold, lovely I know... but at least the weather is nice!

I love the fall, it makes me happy. All of the food, the colors and the family festivities, I can't wait to go home and eat lots of yummy food! And of course I LOVE the cute clothes of the season, I mean, DUH who doesn't?

First Blog

So this would be my first blog ever!

I got the great idea from Roberta and Katie and I thought it was a great way to keep up with my family and friends and I am also able to post photos with out having to send multiple emails in order to do so.

I'm giving it a shot! lets see how it goes...
